Diploma in Intellectual Property Laws (D.I.P.R.)

 

Diploma in IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) is a specialized diploma program that focuses on providing students with knowledge and understanding of intellectual property laws and practices. The program is designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills to handle legal and strategic aspects related to intellectual property.

 

Intellectual property refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions, literary and artistic works, symbols, names, and designs, which are protected by laws. The Diploma in IPR program covers various aspects of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and industrial designs. Students learn about the legal framework governing intellectual property, the process of acquiring and protecting intellectual property rights, licensing and commercialization of intellectual property, and enforcement of intellectual property rights. The curriculum of a Diploma in IPR program may include subjects such as intellectual property laws, patent law, trademark law, copyright law, international aspects of intellectual property, intellectual property management, and intellectual property litigation.

 

Duration – 1 year

Qualification – 10+2 (H.S.C.)

The duration of this course is one year. Prospective candidates who have passed the H.S.C. examination (10+2) or equivalent, conducted by Higher Secondary School Examination Board of the State of Maharashtra or any other examination recognized equivalent to H.S.C. (10+2) by the Savitribai Phule Pune University or any other recognized University is qualified for the course with basic knowledge of Computer Applications. It is useful for advocates, Computer Operating Organizations, Police Officers, Businessmen, B.P.O.s, L.P.O.s, Computer Institutes.
