About MH-CET for Law Cources

In Maharashtra the LLB admission is based on the entrance exam. CET CELL conducts entrance exams for LLB & B.A.LL.B at State Level CET Score and CET Merit List play a major role in the process of admission. Entrance test conducted by CET Cell is mandatory for all types of candidates subject to rules and regulation of DHE & CET CELL.

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra prescribes the MHCET law eligibility criteria 2023 Ifor 5-yearS and 3 years LLB programmes offered by our colleges. The MH-CET law 2023 eligibility criteria cover the minimum conditions one needs to fulfil before filling out the application form.

MH CET law eligibility criteria 2023 – 5-year integrated law:

Qualifying exam: The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam (including 3-year diploma in engineering)

Minimum marks: Maharashtra state candidates need to secure a minimum aggregate of: 45% – General category, 40% – SC/ST, 42% – VJ / DT / NT (A) / NT / O.B.C./ S.B.C. category.

Others: Candidates who have passed senior secondary or obtained a first-degree certificate through distance education or correspondence method are also eligible for admission.

MH-CET Law MAH-LLB (3 Years) Eligibility Criteria: 

In case of candidates applying for admission to 3-year LLB course, the following eligibility conditions are mandated.

The candidates must possess a graduate degree in any discipline.

Such candidates appearing in the qualifying exams in exam year may also apply.

Minimum marks required in the qualifying exam

General candidates belonging to Maharashtra (as per domicile certificate) 45%

SC/ST candidates from Maharashtra.  40%

VJ / DT / NT(A) / NT / O.B.C./ S.B.C. Category belonging to State of

Maharashtra. 42%

Candidates from other states (All categories) 45%
